Loch Ness & Glen Affric Gravel Sportive 2026

Welcome to the Loch Ness & Glen Affric Gravel Sportive; a grassroots cycling event run by the communities of Glen Urquhart and Strathglass, with surplus profits supporting local charities and projects. Riders can tackle the main 64-mile route with 5,800 feet of ascent, winding from Drumnadrochit through Glen Urquhart Forest to Cannich and into the stunning landscapes of Glen Affric, passing Dog Falls and the village of Tomich before returning via a final forest climb, or choose the new 40-mile route with 4,500 feet of ascent to Cannich and back. Along the way, cyclists enjoy breathtaking Highland scenery, vibrant autumn colours, and the warm hospitality of local volunteers. Proceeds aim to leave a lasting legacy by developing cycling and walking trails, supported by Drumnadrochit’s Loch Ness Hub.
