Plan Your Visit

Departure Point:

Hire starts from Loch Ness Hub, Drumnadrochit. Please arrive 5 minutes before your start time to check in with our friendly Hub Team, who will provide helmets, maps, and a demonstration; ensuring you’re confident, comfortable, and ready to enjoy an unforgettable ride through the Highlands.

What to Bring:

Please wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear for cycling in the Highlands. Our routes include a mix of quiet roads and scenic off-road trails, so come prepared for varying terrain and changing weather—this way, you can stay comfortable and fully enjoy the adventure!

Please bring a valid photo ID, which will be securely held at Loch Ness Hub while you’re out cycling.

***We suggest 14 years and over for our eBikes but we reserve the right to adjust either side of this based on height & capability of cyclist – or decline bike hire for safety reasons after evaluation on site.***

We had two hours on a MTB ebike. My 15 year old son loved it. Fantastic service and the bikes were in first class condition. Well worth the money.

I had a very fun 2-hour bike ride around Drumnadrochit, spotting many beautiful views of the highland. The ebike gave great support while riding uphill, and going downhill was so thrilling. Totally recommended.

I discovered yesterday that you can rent an electric mountain bike at the Loch Ness Hub. What an amazing experience! With my husband we went cycling a part of the Great Glen way between Drumnadrochit and the Abriachan Forest. That was so cool to discover the area by bike, without being tired of pedaling. Give it a try if you are in the area. There is so many different paths to try too!

We had an incredibly nice time renting e-bikes here. The ladies working the shop were wonderful and super nice. Had an issue where one of the chains broke towards the end of our ride and one of the girls rode a new bike all the way out to us to swap out - really nice service, going the extra mile.

Very friendly and informative staff. Helped us with e-bike hire, details of trails to follow, tickets to Urquhart Castle and suggestions of other places to visit. Cute little souvenir shop. A great resource for anyone visiting this beautiful part of Scotland.
